That sound though. I'd definitely do a black top swap at some point.

Fail-Wheel-Drive. 4AG-E is best for RWD.

You can't pick up an ae86 for 1300$. When you're poor you learn to appreciate the little things. It's the best car I can get for that price.

Listen, I know what you are thinking. But forget about all that stuff. Buy a SC400/LS400 Lexus and then you will experience 1UZ love.

I don't want a big car. the ae92 weighs close to 2200 pounds, and that's what I want.
I also have a miata for rwd shenanigans

I've seen AW11 MR2's go for as low as that.

Not in my area, and especially not during the summer.

Alright new plan. Drop the 1UZ in the Miata! It totally fits!

It's... GLORIOUS.

1. Are you the one who made that master post about the 1uz? If so could you post a link? I need for science
2. "Now that I got a v8 in my Miata, I wonder if I should work on my tyre sizing...nah, contact patch is for babies"

I was, and here it is! It is nothing to in-depth but I was just going off memory and trying to keep it kind of entertaining. If you want more info, here are two more links:

Aaaaand bookmarked
God, a 6 bolt oversquare forged internal v8 should not be that cheap. *goes back to dreaming about Mad Max Miata build (Now with v8 Powah!)*

And they are light too! So swapping one in shouldn't affect the balance too much, if at all(depending on Miata engine weight).

Older NA's B series weigh in a little shy of 300 lbs. What's a hundred more pounds when you have hundreds of lbs of torque on tap?

Just move the battery to the trunk and you gained some balance back! In a 240sx, the engine weighs like 340 to 370lbs. . . nearly the same as a 1uz. And now you see why people do the swap.

battery reloc! Add in the weight of a beefed up rear end, roll cage, sway bars, off road bumpers...well it probably couldn't be 50/50 but it could still be bad ass
(why yes I do have this entire build envisioned in my head. We can all dream can't we?)
